Here, you can access all mSecure settings, including options to change your password, enable two-factor authentication, auto-lock settings, and more.
Account Settings
Under Account Settings, you can change your email by tapping the Edit (pencil) icon and updating your username. Additionally, you can view your Authentication QR code here if needed to set up another device or for similar purposes.
Note: The new email address must not already be in use within the mSecure account system. If you encounter any issues or receive a message stating that an account with the email already exists, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance.
Change Password
To update your password, go to Change Password and enter your current password, followed by your new password. We recommend creating a password with at least 8 characters, including an uppercase letter, a special character, and a number for enhanced security. After entering your new password, confirm it, create a password hint on the next page and then tap the Set button in the top-right corner to finalize the update.
Note: Be sure to remember your updated password. If forgotten, mSecure cannot retrieve it, as this ensures the security of your data. Losing your password could result in permanent loss of access to your information.
Two-Factor Authentication
On the Two-Factor Authentication settings page, you can enable this feature to add an extra layer of security to your account. Choose one or more of the following options for authentication: email, authenticator app, or text message. Once enabled, you will need to authenticate your account each time you sign in, ensuring greater protection for your data.
Auto-Lock
In the Auto-Lock settings, choose how long you would like mSecure to remain unlocked after you leave the app. You can select a time range from 10 seconds to 10 minutes, or choose Never to disable auto-lock entirely.

Note: Your data will be deleted from the device with the failed attempts, but it will remain intact on other devices signed into the same mSecure account.
