iOS mSecure Extension Guide
Set up the mSecure extension
Before using the mSecure extension, ensure mSecure is set up mSecure on your device.
Follow these steps to enable autofill without opening mSecure:
- Open Safari.
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom-center of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions.
- Under Other Actions, toggle on mSecure Action Extension.
- Tap Done in the top-right corner.
Now, mSecure will be ready to autofill your passwords seamlessly.
Use the mSecure extension
In Safari or other web browsers, follow these steps to use the mSecure extension:
- Visit the web page where you want to use the mSecure extension.
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom-center of the screen.
- Scroll down to mSecure Action Extensions.
- Unlock mSecure (if Face-ID is enabled, mSecure will automatically fill in your Username and Password).
- If there are multiple records with the same domain, select the record you'd like to use.
Get help
- In Safari, the extension cannot be accessed from a blank tab or the Favorites page.
- If an item in mSecure is not appearing when you open the extension, ensure you are using the Logins record type, and that the URL, Username and Password fields are filled in.
If you still need help, follow these steps:
- Ensure you have the latest version of iOS
- Ensure you have the latest version of mSecure.
- Verify that mSecure is set up correctly.
- Confirm that the mSecure extension is properly set up.
