Auto-Backups - Windows
mSecure for Windows allows you to enable auto-backups, which automatically create a backup after every 5 detected changes. These backups can be used to restore your data whenever needed.
Enabling Auto-Backups
- Open and unlock mSecure.
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon in the bottom left).
- Click Backups.
- Enable the Auto-Backups toggle.
- Select a location to store your backups.
Creating or Viewing an Auto-Backup
- Open and unlock mSecure.
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon on the bottom left).
- Click Backups.
- Click Backup Now.
- Save the backup in the Auto-Backups location.
You can also move any .msib backup file to the auto-backups folder, and it will be available for restoration.
Restoring from an Auto-Backup
- Open and unlock mSecure.
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon in the bottom left).
- Click Backups.
- Select an auto-backup file.
- Confirm that want to restore the backup.
- Enter the backup's password.
- Select Yes to replace the current data with the backup data.
