Auto Backups - Mac

mSecure automatically creates backups of your information after 5 changes are detected. You can use these backups to restore your information whenever needed. By default this backups are stores in your iCloud Drive and can be accessed directly on your iCloud Drive. However, if you disable access to your iCloud Drive for mSecure, the auto-backups will be stored within the database itself.

View/Create Auto-Backup

  1. Open and unlock mSecure
  2. Click mSecure 5 from the top menu bar (command+comma)
  3. Click Preferences
  4. Click Backups

You'll have to make sure that mSecure is enabled in your iCloud Drive settings. Thankfully, it is by default. If mSecure is enabled on your iCloud Dive settings, mSecure will create a backup file in your iCloud Drive account. The file can found at:

You can access that file on all of your devices, and the backup will be available in the Backups settings in mSecure on your account on all iOS or Mac devices.
