Resending Your Authentication Email
When you first sign in to create your mSecure account, you will recieve an authentication email containing your Encrypted Account Key (QR Code). If needed, you can always resend the authentication email or view your QR code within mSecure's settings.
How to Resend Your Authentication Email
To view your QR code or resend the authentication email, you must be signed in to mSecure on at least one device. The authentication email should arrive within a minute after signing in for the first time.
Tip: If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk folder. Learn more about the Authentication Email.
Important Notes:
You will not receive a new QR code each time you sign in.
The authentication email is sent only when:
- You sign in to your mSecure account for the first time after creating it.
- You manually resend the email from mSecure Settings.
- You reset your account.
For iOS and Mac Users
If iCloud Drive is enabled, mSecure will automatically store your encrypted account key there. When signing in, mSecure will first check iCloud Drive to authenticate your account.
If a valid key is found, authentication happens automatically. If no key is found or its invalid, you'll be prompted to use your QR code instead.
