Biometric Unlock

Learn how to enable biometric unlock on your devices for use to unlock mSecure. You will still need to know your login password in order to restore from backups or should biometric unlock fail.

IMPORTANT: If you add or delete a face or fingerprint from iOS’s Face/Touch ID Settings, mSecure’s Face/Touch ID Unlock feature will be disabled and you’ll only be able to unlock the app using your password. In addition, if you are on a new device or if you have reinstalled mSecure, you must know your password to sign in to the app first, then biometrics can be set to unlock the app. Biometrics data is not synced from device to device and it does not persist through reinstalls of the app.
