Hi,

I was excited to see that the latest update notes for iOS 26 also included a message that 7.0 was coming soon! Was wondering if you have any timescales for it and could you divulge any of the new features that will be coming?

I was also curious when I saw this! They must have ran into some issues or something because they said it was releasing soon and in the "coming weeks" a while ago. I mean I store a lot of important data in this app so I want it to be bullet proof, so glad they are taking their time but would love to see what is coming too.

Hi Harrison,

We understand that our users are anticipating this update which rightfully so since it will include a big feature like the Windows browser extension. Most of our work currently is actually testing the new version so it is actually a clean product that is not riddled with issues/bugs that we could've fixed before releasing. This testing period includes the actual fixing or tweaking of the new version which takes time for a smaller company like mSeven Software. Please know we are trying our very best to get this out as soon as we can, but we want to release a product that has the least amount of issues to keep our users experience with the app the best it can be.

Will mSecure 7 serve as a Passkey Authenticator Enabling Passkeys across devices?

Thank you for contacting us. Yes, mSecure 7 will support Passkeys on the iOS, Mac, and Android devices. We are currently testing this feature to make sure it was implemented correctly before releasing this update. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Mark,

I was casually looking at this forum today and noticed your comment to say that mSecure 7.0 beta is now available! Cannot wait for it! Ordinarily I would love to sign up for it, but given how important I need mSecure for on a daily basis, I would prefer to wait for the final public release.

Are you able to share how long you expect it to be in beta for and could you give any preview as to what will be new for those that aren't joining the beta?

As an aside (please don't take offense to this, it is meant to be a constructive comment), it would probably be better if you sent out an email announcing the mSecure 7 beta as I'm sure that will reach more people than the users who come onto this forum. I, for one, can't wait for it!
