Hi Eric,
Thank you for the feature request! This is something that we could possibly implement later on in mSecure 6, but for now we are trying to get our big 6.2 version out to the public. After finishing this update, we will take a look at this further. Thank you again.
Yes, I would also very much welcome the integration of 2FA authentication in mSercure. I hope you can implement this soon. THX Peter

Hi Eric,
I came across your request and wanted to clarify—when you mention scanning a QR code to set up your 2FA, are you referring to a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP)? This feature is already available in mSecure. You can use the record editor to add a new record with the "One Time Password" field type. Then, either scan the QR code or manually enter the code string into the record. Once saved, you should see a numerical code accompanied by a countdown timer.
Hi Eric,
Thank you for your response. I’m sorry I misunderstood your first response initially, but like JSeow has stated, this is the only way you can have 2FA codes generated in mSecure for different apps. Currently, you will need to manually create a new One-Time Password field in a record and scan the QR code that is being shown in your other apps to get this to work. You will need to scan the QR code through mSecure in the One-Time Password field. We plan on improving this in the future, but this is how it is working currently.

With all the different Two Factor Authenticators on the market one of my biggest complaints is that they are not centralized within my secure area on devices and are not cross-device compatible. It would be awesome if I could utilize mSecure as my total password and 2FA manager.
Frequently now when I scan a QR Code for setting up 2FA my Android tries to open Keeper and manage it within that app along with the backup keys. The problem is that Keeper is for my non-profit as that is the solution that was chosen for managing and sharing important logins and SSH keys amongst the dozens of members that need them. I prefer mSecure and use that within my household for all our personal and business needs.
There is no way on my Android (Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra) to select mSecure instead of Keeper for this process. However, like I said in the beginning I wish I could do all the 2FA within mSecure instead of external apps so that I could have cross device support of these 2FA. For instance, if I don't have my Samsung phone I could access from my laptop or tablet.
