Duplicate Record / Duplicating Record

I just realized that when I create a duplicate (copy) of a record, it includes ALL the history of the password field. 

Is there a way to clear this field completely so it starts fresh with no passwords? I frequently copy records as I manage several family members' records, and if I've added additional fields, I want them to be mirrored from a formatting perspective.

My workaround is to add a new PW field and then delete the one that was duplicated. 

Is there another solution to quickly wipe out the history of the field?

Thank you for contacting us and I apologize for the delay in my response. There currently is no way to remove the password history of a password field without doing the workaround you mentioned. You are the first user I have been contacted by which is requesting this feature, but I can see why you want this to be different for your case. If we get more users asking for this, we will see if we can change this in the future. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
