Hi Dave,
Thank you for contacting us, and I'm sorry for the issue you are experiencing. I'm not sure what's happening because there aren't any known issues that match the behavior you're describing here. Let me get some more information from you and I'll do my best to troubleshoot the problem.
Are you seeing this tag on all of your devices you have access to your data on currently? Are you missing data inside these records that are tagged with "orphanRecord"? Please let me know and I will assist further.
All data in tags with "orphanRecord" seems to be present. After comparing an old mSecure 3.5 database with my current mSecure 6 database, I've concluded that any records that were NOT in a mSecure 3.5 group had an "orphanRecord" tag added when database was imported to mSecure 6. Not a big problem for me. I was just wondering how I wound up with 300+ records tagged as "orphanRecord".

Hi Dave,
Thank you for your response. I'm not sure why you received the "orphanRecord" tag on your records that were not from mSecure 3, but this should not affect anything with your data. You can remove this tag from your records if you wish. As long as you can see all of your data, then this shouldn't be an issue.
Dave
Somewhere in my various mSecure updates, I acquired a bunch of records with an "orphanRecord" tag. That's not something I (knowingly) added. What is the meaning of this tag?
Thanks,
Dave
