Thank you for contacting us, and I'm sorry for the issue you are experiencing. I talked to our online seller today, Paddle, and they let me know it's not possible to change your currency for the purchase. I'm not sure why they have that restriction, but there's no way to get passed it.
However, you can use PayPal to pay for the subscription. I'm not sure if using PayPal takes care of the currency problem, but you can use it to pay for the subscription if you would like.
Good news, I went ahead and used VPN so I could pay in USD via PayPal. All is good.

This drives me nuts. US Expat living in Asia, I wanted to buy a subscription and when I got to the purchase page it's in the Asian country's currency.
So many other sites let me pay in USD and they use PayPal for the subscription service.
Please don't tell me to use a VPN. It would be sooo nice to choose our currency.
