Touch ID on IOS

My Touch ID does not work. I can use my password to get to my account, but I really want my Touch ID because of the convenience. Problem is that when I want to engage Touch ID in the settings it does not accept any figures or letters in the password field. It just springs in the middle of the field and accepts nothing

Hi George,

It looks like you are running into a known issue where the screen is not displaying correctly in Light mode. The data you are typing is getting entered into the field, but you can't see it. If you change your device to Dark mode temporarily, you'll be able to see what you are typing into the password field.

thanks Mike, that solved the problem!

No problem at all George! We'll get that display issue fixed soon so that it doesn't cause others the same confusion.

Suddenly, mSecure is not displaying any option to utilize touch ID. Password works just fine but there is no fingerprint option on my iPhone.

@Gerald I'm not sure what's happening here, but the good news is, you are still able to get into mSecure with your password. First, I need to make sure that everything is set up correctly in your mSecure app. Go ahead and open mSecure on your iPhone, tap the menu button in the top left corner (3 stacked lines), then tap Settings. In the Settings, tap Account Settings. Does it tell you that you have an Essentials account?

If the app does show you have an Essentials account, then go back to the Settings screen. You should see an option to turn on Touch ID. Do you see that option, and if so, what happens when you turn on the toggle?

Thank you. Followed your instructions and all is good.

That's great news Gerald! Take care, and let me know if you need further assistance.
