Please explain why I have to re-purchase the app mSecure 5 if I already owned mSecure 3. By default every account should be Grand fathered to the new versions. Please get back to me and clarify this.

I am an existing user of mSecure currently running 3.5.7 on iOS (Mac). I would like to upgrade to the latest version 5.5.3. Couple of questions.
Can i import everything I have in the old version 3.5.7 into the new app 5.5.3?
Do I need to purchase a new licence with 5.5.3?
