When the red icon is displayed between the client and the server, that means the two devices are not able to communicate over your network. Were you able to get the syncing to work John?
I'm having similar issue. Not sure when it started, but I did recently updated my home network to an XFinity Gateway. Wifi network name remained the same. I followed the instructions in the linked article and set my network to Private, w/PC being discoverable. This has not resolved the issue, I still receive "Server is unreachable" from the phone app. Restarted Windows and ap on phone following changes; had no effect.
Network name displayed in both Client and Server are correct. IP address displayed for Server is correct and matches what is displayed under the Sync Status dialog of the PC software.
Other particulars: Running Windows 11. Phone is Samsun Galaxy S20+ 5g w/latest updates available. OS is Android 13; One UI 5.1.
Permissions I see for mSecure app are Camera, Location, and Notifications all of which are enabled.
Further suggestions?

Same issues as Brian above. Same troubleshooting steps followed/performed. Same unfortunate results of no sync. Only difference is I have an iPhone.
@Brian and @Fredrickmurphy If you are both seeing that the server is not reachable, that means your devices are not communicating on a hardware level. This is especially so if the IP Address you are seeing in mSecure's Sync Settings on your mobile device is the same as the IP Address you're seeing in your computers WiFi settings. The reason mSecure needs the IP Address, of course, is because that is how it knows which line to talk through on your network. If that IP Address is correct on both devices, then mSecure on the mobile device is not able to use that address to communicate with the desktop app.
The typical cause for such behavior is some type of firewall. This could be the Windows Firewall, or it could be some Anti-Virus software that also have their own Firewall system. Do you have your Firewall set up to allow mSecure through it for Windows? If you do have anti-virus software running, can you try disabling it and then try WiFi syncing again? In either case, changing Firewall settings or disabling anti-virus software, please be sure to fully shut down your PC and then start it again before trying syncing again.

WIFI sync not working between android and lenovo laptop.
I get a red icon that shows a phone a line then a light bolt a line and then a computer.
On same network on both devices.
sync automatically is turned on.
Master computer is turned on.
