This means that your username is already used in another user's account. You can change your username or add a number to your username when registering an account.

Hi Elaine,
Thank you for contacting us, and I apologize for the long delay in my response. Your post was marked as spam for some reason, so I just found it today. When you see the message that your username already exists, that means you are trying to sign up for an account, but the username you're entering already exists on an account in our system. I checked your email, and you do already have an mSecure account. What happens if you try to sign in to that account instead of trying to sign up for a new account?
