I'm not sure what's causing this issue. However, you should be asked for the old password in mSecure 5 on a device that is already signed in and then asked for the new password after the app is unlocked and decrypted. I would recommend reinstalling the app on Windows to fix your issues here.

I changed the password for mSecure on my Mac (mSecure 5.5.5.).
I then logged on to mSecure on my Android phone with the old password, was immediately kicked out and had to log on with the new password - good.
The same happened with a windows machine - great
However my last device (Windows Surface. mSecure 5.5.98) still has the old login and no matter what I do, I still use the old password.
As well as being a pain, I consider this a risk, as the security benefit of changing my password has been removed
