why can't I open my account on my new laptop like I just did on my iPhone?

My laptop crashed and it's taking ages to get it restored on my new laptop but I had no problem on my iPhone. All I had to do was 'sign in' on my phone and I got 'my listing' on my phone. Why am I unable to on my new laptop?
