Hi James,
Thank you for contacting us. There is no mSecure 4 for computers. The older version of mSecure for Mac and Windows is mSecure 3. You can learn how to transfer your mSecure 3 information to mSecure 5 here: https://support.msecure.com/en/support/solutions/articles/36000064654-transfer-information-from-msecure-3-to-msecure-5
However, mSecure 5 cannot run on a Windows 7 computer. mSecure 5's minimum system requirements are iOS 10.3+; Watch OS 4.3+; Android 4.3+; Mac 10.11+; Windows 10 (UWP).
You can download mSecure 5 here:

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mseven.barolo
Mac: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/msecure-password-manager-and-secure-wallet/id1157750250

Eden,
Thanks for the reply. I mistyped the 4 instead of 3. I know the pain of no mSecure5 on Win7 as my desktop app does not sync with mSecure5 app on my Android.
My user (brother) has 3 stranded on his Win7 pc also but had not setup an account or downloaded mSecure5 app on his Android yet.
I am in the process of moving his Win7 to a new Win10 pc .
**** Big question **** can I export the mSecure3 to his mSecure5 app on his Android after I install the new app? He (I) has not installed any mSecure apps his new Android cellphone yet***
Thanks for you time.

Hi James,
mSecure 5 on all platforms can restore from a .msim backup file created in the previous versions. You should be able to create a backup file of mSecure 3 on his computer (File > Backup) and transfer the file to an his Android device. Let me know if you need a specific example on how to transfer a file to an Android device. Once the .msim backup file is on his Android device, have him download mSecure 5 and sign in to an account or create account. You can restore from a backup file in mSecure 5 for Android this way:
1. Open and unlock mSecure 5
2. Tap the menu icon
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Restore
5. Navigate to the backup file's location (note that mSecure 5 cannot read external SD cards. The file should be transferred to the internal storage of the device)
6. Enter the backup's password and restore (each backup file is encrypted with the login password(mSecure 4 or below) or mSecure account password used when the backup file was created)

I need a guide on moving upgrading to mSecure5 on Android and moving the current mSecure 4? database from a user's Windows7 pc to his new Win10 pc and install mSecure5 on the new pc and THEN bring the older version database into mSecure5 so that his Android and Win10 pc are synced .
I understand I have to setup an account on msecure.com first. The rest of the process is fuzzy...... I am still using a Win7 pc and am not upgrading until later in the year. I do, however, need to get the other user (non-tech brother) fixed up first
